Are you looking for an original work of art that tells a story without needing to be explained? "Aviator" is a hyperrealistic graphite pencil drawing of a girl aviator on Lana Bristol 230gsm paper in 21×29.7 cm format by David Mateo. A female portrait of extreme precision where every freckle, every reflection in the vintage glasses, and every strand of wet hair has been meticulously hand-drawn with a fidelity that blurs the lines between drawing and photography. A unique piece, signed and with a certificate of authenticity.

Aviator Pencil Drawing

The lenses of the aviator glasses reflect light and space with an optical precision that only well-worked graphite can achieve. Every freckle on the skin, every wet hair, and the texture of the worn leather helmet have been drawn in graphite pencil on Lana Bristol 230gsm paper, stroke by stroke, in an exercise of hyperrealism that transforms an A4 format into a visual presence that transcends its physical size.

Realistic Drawing for Collectors

Collectors who invest in realistic human figure drawings seek pieces that convey something no photograph can capture: the artist's interpretation, the decision behind each stroke, and the physical texture of graphite on paper. "Aviator" brings all of this together in a contemporary portrait with the narrative of another era: a modern aviator with the spirit of flight pioneers.

A Contemporary Artwork That Transforms Any Space

In its 21×29.7 cm format, "Aviator" functions as both an intimate and powerful piece. Ideal for creative studios, bedrooms, or offices where author's art replaces conventional interior decoration. Its palette of deep grays and the dramatic contrast of the dark background make it compatible with any style, from minimalist to industrial, without losing an ounce of visual presence.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are the sheets protected?

Each sheet is shipped rolled up with a layer of paper protecting the printed side and secured inside a cardboard tube to prevent bending or damage during transport.
I take it very seriously that your work arrives perfect, just as you see it on screen.

Are all the works created by David Mateo?

Yes. All the works available in this shop are drawn by me, David Mateo , and each reproduction is made from the original work.
It's my way of ensuring that what you receive maintains the essence, detail, and quality of each piece I create.

To which countries are the original works sent?

Original works of art are shipped exclusively to Spain and countries of the European Union .

This decision is due to the special characteristics of these types of pieces, such as their value, specific packaging, transport management, and the possible application of customs duties on shipments outside the EU , which can generate additional costs and complications in delivery.

For other international destinations, currently only on-demand products (prints and editions) are available, which have a logistics system adapted to global shipments.

How long does it take for orders to arrive?

The processing and manufacturing time is 1 to 2 days .
Once prepared, your order will be shipped with an estimated delivery time of 3 to 7 business days within Spain . I will always notify you by email when your order is on its way so you can easily track it.

Can I track my order?

Yes. As soon as your order leaves the workshop, you will receive an email with the tracking number so you can see where it is and when it will arrive.
If for any reason you do not receive that email, you can write to me and I will send it to you immediately.

Are the prints limited editions?

No, the prints are not limited editions.
I work with high-quality reproductions so that my artwork can reach a wider audience without losing detail or fidelity to the original drawing. This allows me to offer a more accessible price without compromising the essence of each piece.

How do I contact you to resolve a problem with my order?

You can write to me directly through the website's contact form or send me an email to the address you will find in the contact section.
If it's more convenient for you, you can also chat with me using the chat bubble at the bottom of the store , and I'll respond as soon as possible to help you with any questions or issues.

Will new designs be available soon?

Yes. I continue to draw and work on new pieces, and I add them to the shop as they are ready.
If you want to find out when I publish a new design, you can follow me on social media or join the newsletter: I always announce it there first.
