Hand-painted sneaker customization service by David Mateo, a hyperrealist artist whose works have been exhibited at the MEAM in Barcelona and the Ateneo de Madrid. Each pair is painted entirely by hand on leather or synthetic leather sneakers, using special high-durability acrylic paints, in a process that can take over 40 hours of work. Service available only in Spain. The €100 reservation is fully refundable if you do not accept the quote.

Unlike custom sneakers made with digital printing or vinyl, these pieces are painted stroke by stroke directly onto the sneaker with high-durability paints. The result is a unique, unrepeatable piece where the design is part of the material, not a sticker on it. How the Customization Service Works
The process is simple and risk-free:
- Reserve your spot for €100 to secure your turn in David's schedule and begin the consultation.
- Personalized consultation: we discuss your idea, the sneaker model, colors, and design complexity. The sneakers are not included in the price; you can buy them yourself and send them to my studio, or I can manage the purchase to save you hassle.

Custom quote: based on the complexity and estimated hours, you will receive a detailed quote.

If you accept: the €100 reservation will be deducted from the total, and we will agree on a payment schedule.
- If you do not accept: I will refund 100% of the reservation, no questions asked.
Once the sneakers are received and the order is clear, the painting process generally takes one week, plus shipping time depending on your location in Spain.
Price Guidance by Complexity
Each order is different, but these indicative ranges will help you get an idea before the consultation:

Basic design from €250: simple motifs, reduced palette, less than 15 hours of work. Ideal for logos, geometric illustrations, or minimalist designs.

Premium design from €600: complex designs with multiple characters, gradients, and medium-high detail. Between 20 and 30 hours of work. Like the Dragon Ball sneakers in the gallery.

Collector's design from €1,000: extreme level of detail, more than 35-40 hours of work, a unique luxury piece in the world. For those seeking personalized luxury sneakers without limits on detail.
These prices do not include the sneakers. The final quote is calculated after the consultation and includes materials, labor hours, and taxes.
Payment Terms

Initial reservation: €100 upon order confirmation, fully refundable if the final quote is not accepted.

First payment: upon accepting the quote, 50% of the total is paid, minus the €100 already paid for the reservation.
- Final payment: the remaining 50% is paid once the sneakers are finished and before shipping.
Example for a €600 order:
- Now: €100 reservation
- Upon accepting quote: an additional €200 (50% of total − reservation)
- Upon completion: €300 before shipping
Accepted payment methods: credit or debit card, PayPal, Bizum, bank transfer, or custom order on the website. The price does not include the sneakers, only the customization service.

- Once the order is placed, write to me using the WhatsApp button.
There, your order number and name will appear for me, so we can start right away.
- We'll discuss the idea, size, and shoe model, and I'll prepare a personalized final quote for you.
- If you accept the quote, we'll proceed. If not, I'll issue a full refund of the booking fee.
- Once accepted, you'll make the initial 50% payment (minus the booking fee, which will be deducted).
- Customization begins. During the process, if you wish, I can send you progress images.
- When the work is finished, you'll make the payment for the second half.
- I'll proceed with the physical shipment of the shoes.
What exactly does the reservation include?
The reservation serves to secure your spot on my commission list and cover the time for project planning and preparation.
It includes:

Is the reservation refundable and is it deducted from the final price?
Yes, in both cases. The €100 reservation is fully refundable as long as work has not commenced. If we proceed, that amount is automatically deducted from the final price of the commission.
How long does customization take?
Customization time depends on the complexity and level of detail we agree upon, but typically these customizations take about a week from the time I receive the shoes.
If you need them by a specific date (birthday, gift, anniversary, etc.), please let me know from the start so I can organize my work and confirm if I can meet your deadline.
To which countries are the custom sneakers shipped?
Sneakers are shipped exclusively to Spain.
As these are fully customized items, this limitation allows us to guarantee greater control over the process, transportation, and packaging, as well as to avoid additional costs and potential issues arising from customs for shipments outside the EU.
For other international destinations, currently only on-demand products are available, which have a logistics system adapted for global shipping.
How is the shipment made?
The sneakers are shipped in their original box with extra protection for their safety.
How do I pay the rest of the order?
Once the final quote is accepted, you can choose from several payment methods:
