There are spaces that need artwork with a real story behind it, not just catalog decorations. "Genesis" is one of my first hyperrealistic drawings, created in 2021 with graphite pencil on A4 paper (21×29.7 cm): my own hand with a matching bracelet and ring, tattooed and suspended against a black background. It's the drawing where hyperrealism truly began to appear in my work, from a hyperrealist artist whose works have been exhibited at the MEAM in Barcelona and the Ateneo de Madrid. Unique piece, hand-signed and with a certificate of authenticity.

Genesis is not just a drawing of a tattooed hand: it's the graphic document of a turning point. In 2021, I drew my own hand in graphite with a precision that marked the beginning of my hyperrealistic phase. Every vein under the skin, every link of the steel bracelet, the details of the ring, and the lines of the floral tattoo were drawn in pencil with a fidelity that already hinted at where my work would go next. Owning this drawing means owning the origin of that trajectory.

Each sheet is shipped rolled up with a layer of paper protecting the printed side and secured inside a cardboard tube to prevent bending or damage during transport.

Yes. All the works available in this shop are drawn by me, David Mateo , and each reproduction is made from the original work.
It's my way of ensuring that what you receive maintains the essence, detail, and quality of each piece I create.
To which countries are the original works sent?
Original works of art are shipped exclusively to Spain and countries of the European Union .
This decision is due to the special characteristics of these types of pieces, such as their value, specific packaging, transport management, and the possible application of customs duties on shipments outside the EU , which can generate additional costs and complications in delivery.
For other international destinations, currently only on-demand products (prints and editions) are available, which have a logistics system adapted to global shipments.
How long does it take for orders to arrive?
The processing and manufacturing time is 1 to 2 days .
Once prepared, your order will be shipped with an estimated delivery time of 3 to 7 business days within Spain . I will always notify you by email when your order is on its way so you can easily track it.
Can I track my order?
Yes. As soon as your order leaves the workshop, you will receive an email with the tracking number so you can see where it is and when it will arrive.
If for any reason you do not receive that email, you can write to me and I will send it to you immediately.
Are the prints limited editions?
No, the prints are not limited editions.
