The Resurrection of a Giant by the Light of the Moon

This original hyperrealistic charcoal drawing is not just an animal depiction; it's a journey through time. Titled "Wool," David Mateo presents the authentic and original work, painstakingly drawn on paper. In it, a woolly mammoth emerges from the shadows, crowned by a sun that lends the scene an air of contemporary Gothic art: melancholic, profound, and timeless.

Acquiring this piece means owning the physical trace of charcoal on paper, the hours of dedication, and the unique vision of an artist who rejects digital shortcuts to embrace the purity of hand drawing.

Details of the original hyperrealistic charcoal drawing

Pure Texture and Contrast

The charcoal technique is taken to the limit to capture the essence of this colossus:

Hyperrealistic Fur: Thousands of individual strokes recreate the density and movement of the mammoth's fur, achieving a volumetric sensation that seems to break the surface of the paper.

Ivory and the Gaze: The curved tusk and the detailed eye act as focal points, conveying the wisdom and strength of a legendary species.

Gothic and Mysterious Atmosphere: The dramatic use of chiaroscuro and the presence of sunlight create a contrast of deep blacks and ethereal grays. It is a piece that fits perfectly with a dark and sophisticated aesthetic, ideal for collections that value the mystical and the ancient.

An Investment in Authentic Art

This is the original artwork, not a reproduction. It is a piece designed for the collector seeking absolute exclusivity.

Unique Piece: Made entirely by hand with charcoal and graphite. No two are alike.

Decoration with Character: Due to its scale and visual strength, it is capable of presiding over a living room, an office or a professional studio, becoming the center of attention.

Certificate of Authorship: By purchasing this original drawing, you are directly supporting the career of an artist specializing in analog hyperrealism.
